Özgur AKDOĞAN
TC South Aegean Development Agency General Secretary
Born in Ankara in 1976, Özgür Akdoğan completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. He graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 1999 as a mechanical engineer.
After his private sector experience, he worked at various levels in the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation and the Republic of Turkey State Railways. He started to work at the South Aegean Development Agency in June 2010. As the Head of the Program Management Unit, he took part in the management of various Project Calls for Proposals, Financial and Technical Support Programs for the private and public sectors, including Tourism Infrastructure, Development of Alternative Tourism.
Akdoğan, who was appointed as the Secretary General of the South Aegean Development Agency by proxy, on 19.09.2019, is married, has two children and speaks English.
